It's a really nice picture and I really like the white trees, but is her vagina blue?

Just whatever hair she has - it's a byproduct of the partial color IR.

Good thing you can't actually see her "vagina" in this image, as that would probably be a medical condition.

Her -labia- has a blue tint because this is shot in infrared.

Heh^_^" I kinda regret saying like that, but when it loaded on my screen in loaded her waist down and I saw blue.Im not a photographer so I thought it was like a mythological thing, not perverted.Sorry if it seemed that way.

eh . . . i like the coloring, definitly a cut above the majority of the nude art on this site, very alien feeling without venturing into being uncomfortable . . . which is wonderful.

very beautiful model of course . .. but I dont have much to ssay, other than my confusion on the whole "dead plants" thing . .. i see no dead plants

Beautiful and creepy, she is like some mythological creature, a dryad, perhaps. Or the living dead. Very eerie effect, she is like a ghost.

The IR showing the veins is just too cool, great capture.

The IR nudes are a really good idea, but i think this one would have looked better without the frame. The frame doesn't help, it just makes it look more common.

Since everyone keeps asking about the veins, its because its an infrared picture. Since its in color he probably took it with an infrared digital camera. With the right light infrared shoots through skin and sometimes clothes. Its also why the leaves are white. Green reflects a lot of infrared (red) light.

Beautiful photo by the way

Eerie! Is her skin naturally that translucent?

She looks like a spirit of winter and cold, at a time when meeting such a thing meant you were going to freeze to death in the woods.

Woah, those veins. Is that makeup or natural? It does lend itself to the otherworldly-ness of the photo. This almost looks like a painting.

Thanks Zae, very little PhotoShoping involved, mostly contrast stretch and saturation adjustment. The sensor is filtered to get some IR and some visible light, hence the colors.

That's natural. Near IR photos will do that. I still think it's cool that a near if shot of a bottle of coca cola is perfectly clear!

I like how the plants seem more alive than the actual model.. which is cool cuz it evokes that eerie feeling when I look at this photo. Her blue hair gives the out-of-the-world vibe too.

You know this site is full of so many people who take crappy nude pictures and try to pass them off as art, so it's so refreshing to see a well made piece of work like this.

The way the model's skin and hair has been colored to look cold and blue is amazing (even the pubic area) there's so much detail here.

This photo is pure random. A cant see any emotions, any focus of the photo. There is no story to this. For me its just a woman standing in the middle of some bushes. And the ir look doesn't help it in my opinion. Sorry mate but i don't like it :(

It's the R72, it's mostly Near IR but it's on the edge of visible light so there are still some colors, if you want them.

Amazing shot, I love all the veins. What IR filter do you use? I'm planning on getting my camera modded for IR by life pixel but I can't decide which filter to go with

This was the 72nm IR filter. I like it because you get just a little visible (color) light mixed in yet it's contrasty enough if you go full B&W, it looks like regular IR. Plus you can switch the bands to get a blue sky. This shot is almost straight off the sensor. I didn't do any fancy Photoshop tricks.
